The latest Ford Fiesta builds on the talents of its predecessor, while all but eliminating its weaknesses. With a range of advanced three-cylinder petrol engines and two efficient diesels, the Fiesta is more economical than ever, while greater rear-seat room makes it a lot more family-friendly. Perhaps best of all, its fantastic sense of fun remains. Build quality has improved drastically, inside and out, and the latest safety technology is available – even if some comes at extra cost. For now, the Fiesta has regained the supermini crown.
